If COUNTDOWN were to show Nightwing in a positive light and establish him as the major player he should be, i'd advocate cancelling his ongoing for a year, letting the anticipation build and then relaunching it under an allstar creative team.

In any case, for Countdown, I'd want a combination of a few characters from 52 (Batwoman definitely...at least), combined with a few of these characters that supposedly play this giant role in the Multiverse. Y'know, Nightwing, Donna Troy, Kyle(?). Something like that.
