Not the present Huntress.

The Earth-2 Batman and Catwoman are the parents of the Earth-2 Huntress, Helena Wayne.

On the regular normal Earth, Huntress is Helena Bertinelli and has no connection to Bruce or Selina. Oddly enough, Selina has a daughter named Helena on this Earth, but Bruce is supposedly not the father.

Not of the current (and in the JLU) Huntress i.e. Helena Bertinelli.

Earth-2 Huntress i.e Helena Wayne, the *Original* one, her parents were E-2 Batman & Catwoman.

Also, as for the Helena that is the 'current' Selina Kyle's one-night-stand child, that was/is DC just yanking on fanboy chains...just to make a mystery out of something that was a given. (Yeah, like with that Talia's punk, they were going to give Bruce a second kid.)

Yes and no.
The original pre-1986 Huntress was. But the current one is the daughter of a Sicilian mobster.

Do you mean the Birds of Prey TV series? That show was weird. Wasn't it supposed to be 20 years in the future?

All I have to say to get u going (apart from my first post in this thread) is...

...take whatever you know about the characters from the BoP TV series and flush it down the proverbial toilet, 'cause not only will that info have the company of the show (which is already in the crapper archives), you will also have a clean slate to get to know the actual 'comic' (and almost in all cases, the JLU versions) of the characters.

Let's just say that the Birds of Prey (live action) Huntress is based on one version of Huntress, and the JLU Huntress is based on another version, which is similar to the character you can see today in the Birds comic book. :)

Birds of Prey, JLU and Comics are completely different things. The continuity in one doesnt apply the other.

Hey I liked that show! Well the two and a half episodes I saw anyway. Had a lot of potential.

The Huntress is actually the daughter of Batman and Valerie Bertinelli. Eddie Van Halen's still really pissed.

Huntress is such a confusing character that i really try to ignore her. You read pre-Crisis she's a Bat kid, you read post-Crisis she's a mobster, you read post-IC she's Earth 8 (whatever that is), you watch Birds of Prey she's back to Bat kid, you watch JLU she's a mobster again.

And this whole "give Catwoman a kid called Helena by another man" schtick doesnt help matters either.

It's not anywhere near that complex. The Earth 8 thing wasn't a new status quo, it was an offhand comment. It doesn't even change her being a mobster's daughter, it was just a comment about the multiverse. You can ignore that one line by one character and lose nothing.

The TV show and cartoon are seperate continuities with seperate stories. When you read a Superman story, you don't think about Lois's son in Superman Returns, do you? After Barry Allen died in CoIE, there was a TV show where Flash was Barry Allen, but you don't consider that to be confusing because he's switching between Wally and Barry, do you? Just ignore the shows like everyone else. It's not like the Birds of Prey show is still on anymore.

Huntress was Batman's daughter before CoIE and she's the daughter of a mobster now. That's all you need to know, and it's vastly less complex than Green Lantern or Flash.

You're absolutely correct.
