Did we ever get an official word on what happened to the this project, last I remember was issue 2 came out and have been waiting since. Did I miss something?

No, you didn't miss anything, #2 was the last one released. Campbell's doing a Spider-Man project with Jeph Loeb, so depending on what rumor you believe, Wildsiderz will only start coming out once it's completely finished (and being worked on 2nd fiddle, with Spidey taking priority), or it'll simply never be completed.

Campbell is one of my favs, but given his track record and speed, I don't think that it's to be expected that he continues work on Wildsiderz while he's doing Spidey, which will be taking up all of his time, and will take awhile to do as is.

I'm afraid it's pretty much dead in the water. Which is too bad because I was enjoying it. It was like an '80s toyline crossed with an '80s teen movie.
